Hina and Co aim to be the only Professional British Asian dance academy in the Midlands to provide excellent dance and Asian culture training through our workshops. The workshops provide the best possible intensive training to improve confidence and social skills. Our specialised Workshops Include:

• Kathak Dance
• Indian Story Telling

We can either set up workshops in Birmingham, or can arrange for teachers to visit you at a venue of your choice to teach full day or half day workshops.

The Course Structure
The content of the course will include a blend of Indian Classical, Bollywood, Bhangra, Folk and Contemporary dance, to enable each member to be versatile in the area of building up a dance repertoire and improving dance vocabulary.

The first half of the course will entail building up a performance piece, working on movement, body postures, aliment, working in a group, facial expressions and completing the choreographed routines.

The second part of the course will entail working on the set routines and building up to the performance/ performances. The last part of the course will entail preparing of stage work which will be showcased to a live audience. This would be a great way to build a portfolio through training and gaining practical experience, allowing talent to be showcased.
